Only 32mb of dedicated video ram on a macbook pro with 8gb of ram

I am on a 13.3 inch mid-2012 macbook pro with a 750gb hhd and 8gb of ram. My video card supposedly has 1gb of ram, but when I used Windows 8 in BootCamp it said that I only have 32mb of dedicated video ram. Is there any way to increase this.

*EDIT*

Pardon my lack of a question mark or any punctuation. I think that the windows drivers are messed up because around 8 keys make a random symbol.

That Mac does not have any discrete VRAM. It borrows RAM from Main Store to create the screen buffer. The VRAM indicated in the Mac display would be how much it had borrowed. The Mac does a lot of drawing into off-screen display memory and then switching the screen buffer to the pre-drawn area. So it has reserved 1GB of memory to do this.

The mis-match is caused by Windows deciding all you need is about a single screen's worth of display RAM, and only allocated enough to draw the screen.

dedicated memory are separate memory chips only used for the video card one can't make the system ram real dedicated video memory

but one can make system memory act as shared video ram which of cause would be 1000 times slower because the video card don't have direct access to it but has to go passed the cpu

read more here

bootcamp get shared video memory

but even when one add the much slower shared video memory it don't really speed things up the hit having to transfer textures from system memory over pci-express back and forth to the video chip (gpu) result in poor performance anyway so any program which will not start because of too low video memory will run very very very poorly even if one have success cheating into thinking one have more video memory then one really does
