I lost my iPhone and I didn't have the find my iPhone turned on , is there anything I can do so people can't use it or get into it?

I lost my iPhone and I believe someone has found it but hasn't returned it I never turned on the find my iPhone is there anything else I can do to find it? The reason I believe some has it Is because of my pictures on my iPad they took pictures and must have uploaded them cause I now have pictures of kids. What can I do.. I do not know these kids

Without Find My iPhone turned on, there is not a lot you can do. Sounds like you didn't have a Lock Screen lock on either. Thre is nothing to prevent the thief from using it. They will not be able to resotre it, and if they try, it will then lock them out with an Activation Lock that will completely disable the device.

You need to report it to the police, change your Apple/iCloud/iTunes password, and contact your carrier to suspend servce to the device.
