So how does that limit other apps like twitter, facebook, tumblr, filcker etc all of which can access content that might be undesirable?

I was only suggesting a Web Surfing. WarriorG63 said "appropriate sites", so i suggested a way. Its not the only way

I gave those by way of example. Reddit for example simply requires that you clickon "yes I am old enough" and you are in.....

I said the best way that I THINK, is safe search. The best ways to not go into inapropriate sites
