Battery continues to drain after iOS 7.1.1

My iPhone 5 continues to show quick battery drain (compared to iOS 7.0.6). I have turned off location services, push email, background app refresh, yet seen no difference. Apple please look into this issue for a fix! Thank you

No battery drain on my handset, I think its more to do with what apps you have running how many push notifications you have, the state of your battery etc. I get 2 days out of mine with about 6 hours useage with wifi on 24/7 Some apps like facebook use much more battery life that others. Also background app refresh can eat battery useage. 7.1.1 for myself uses no more than 7.1 or 7.0 tbh.

this our causes of fast drain battery

1st Hardware

maybe the history of phone getting wet by persperation of our hand while using it,water, oil

maybe you are using not original charger so can damaged your phone

the firmware maybe bug issue inside so developer may alert for those cooments in this community si keep posting

3Rd Application

some application HD may affect battery percentage some games HD is more consumption energy

I only use my phone for light facebook and whatsapp. I don't watch videos or play games. I also turned of location services for Facebook app and I've been using Apple's original cable. But thanks for your suggestions about some apps. I recently installed MS Office and Mailbox App (by Dropbox). Just deleted those and will continue to monitor.

Will let you guys know if it's because of the apps. Thank you!

WhatsApp polls all the time to get new updates, it uses alot of battery. I have mine set with location services for the phone on but not Location based iAds and Diagnostics and Usage I also have Diagnostic and useage Data set to not send, I removed facebook as I dont need it on my phone, brightness is set to auto and emails are manual. These settings at this time give me 2 Hours 15 mins usage and 1 day 8 Hours standby with 76% battery life remaining, with a few phone calls some text and iMessages and wifi on constantly.

My 4s did seem to get a little better with this last update, but then again I have everything disabled like the app refresh and locations services as well as set my email to fetch instead of push. Kind of defeats the purpose of having those features if you can't use them. Also my iPad 3 battery was great until I did the upgrade to 7.1. Installed 7.1.1 and the battery life is still just as bad. I can be at 100% at bedtime and when I wake up, it will be at 45%. I'm a little disappointed with Apple. Kind of feel like it Blackberry all over again. A great company with a great product and then the competition jumps ahead of them. Still love my iPad--actually have two of them, so I won't ditch the company yet, but I hope they will really try to figure out what is up with the battery drainage on their products.

My iPhone 4S seems much worse since 7.1.1; I used to see the battery level drop as low as 2% before the phone would shut down. Now it will shut off between 20-24%. Perhaps that level indicator isn't a true reading, but in general I see the battery run down fairly quickly. no reason to think the battery itself is bad; I've usually let it drain all the way down and do a full recharge. I don't run a lot of notifications/pushes, but I usually have wi-fi active most of the time; I need wi-fi at home for better signal, the cell service at home is spotty.

I did a total reset to my ipad 3 which was having the same problem as my phone and started fresh. I did not use my back up to restore. My iPad battery life is back to normal. iCloud still imported my contacts, pics, notes, etc. I mainly had to re-download my apps. Not sure if I want to do the same with my 4s as I have a lot of content on there, however, it appears as totally clearing off your phone or ipad resets it. Hope that helps someone.
