Printing highlighted text

I can't figure out how to print only the section of text or page I've highlighted. On windows, a window appears giving you the option (selection), you select selection and it prints whats been highlighted. I can't find the equivalent in OSX, though I'm sure it's there somewhere. HELP!

Think it depends on the application that you are printing from... For instance, printing from MS Word gives the choice to print All, Current Page, Selection, or Range in the Copies&Pages pane, while Safari just gives a page range option. If you need to print just selected text from an application that doesn't offer it-though its a bit roundabout- you could use the Services under the application name on the menubar to select TextEdit>New Window Containing Selection and then print from TextEdit.
