Lost garageband files

If anyone could help me with this, that'd be fantastic.

I was updating iOS 7.1.1 on my ipad mini, when the ipad went onto recovery mode. In itunes on my computer, it detected that my ipad was in recovery mode and suggested that I do a restore. I clicked yes and restored from backup. However, I had files in garageband that have are no longer in garageband on the ipad mini. Can anyone share a tip about how I can recover those files. Right now, in garageband on the iPad, it is completely empty. When I try to access my backup folder on the computer, there are lots of files but I can't seem to identify one that would be the backup for garageband.

Anything can help, please let me know. I can't believe I will no longer have those files.

Thank you
