My iPhone 3Gs does not connect to my pc or any other computer, nothing happens at all, it doesn't charge either unless it's turned off, this is the same when using the actual charger as well.

Hi Denze09,

If your iPhone isn't being recognized by iTunes, you may find the troubleshooting in one of the following articles helpful:

iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Mac OS X

If you are able to get your iPhone recognized in iTunes but are still having charging issues, you may want to try backing up your content to iTunes, restoring your iPhone back to factory settings, then testing to see if the issue is still present before restoring your content/data.

Apple Support: Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
