Q: How can I upgrade my documents created with iWorks before 09^

I am a new user of OS X Maverick, since I changed my 2010 mac Mini with the new mac mini. Problem is: how can I upgrade my documents library of iworks to the latest version of iworks? I don't want to buy iworks 09 to recover my documents and do a double job

Please help.

You seem to be assuming that Pages 5 is actually the better choice.

iWork '08 will run fine in Mavericks and can Export to Word .doc/x which everything else will open.
