Each time i do a backup will the entire libray be backed up or just the additions/changes to the library?

I'm intending to start backing up my music libray and if i do it regulaly, as it large, it'll take ages each time i do it

Hey andrew_mcelvenney,

Thanks for the question. Because you will be manually backing up your library by copying the iTunes folder to your external disk each time, the entire transfer should overwrite what exists on the disk. This differs from iOS, iCloud, and OS X backups: which only update the changes since the last backup.
