iTunes Won't Add Movies to my iPhone 5C

I recently got an iPhone 5C. I'm trying to put two movies on it using iTunes. One was originally an mp4 file that I made on my computer (Ib Voice Drama), and the other was a movie that I know can go on the iPhone because my father used to have it on his iPhone 4 and the movie was taken directly from his library (I Am). When I try to sync my library with my iPhone so the movies can be watched on my device, the same error always pops up. "Some of the videos on your iTunes Library cannot be copied to your iPhone because they cannot be played on this iPhone." I tried to add the movies directly to my phone from the Movies tab, but the same error popped up. Can someone please help me?
