HELP!! Screen Curtain will not Shutoff on iPad mini

For added privacy, you can prevent those around you from reading the screen by using the screen curtain, which temporarily turns the screen black. The screen curtain is also useful for sighted users who want to avoid reading the screen while learning to use VoiceOver.

Press VO-Shift-F11. If you’re using VoiceOver gestures, triple-tap with three fingers.

To turn off the screen curtain, repeat the command or gesture.

If you turn off VoiceOver while the screen curtain is on, the screen curtain is also turned off.

Turn off screen curtain

If VoiceOver is on and the screen is black, but you can still use the device by pressing volume up and volume down, you may have screen curtain on.

Try triple-tapping using three fingers on the device display to turn off screen curtain. You may have to do it a few times.

With Voice Over turned "ON", you can enable and disable the Screen Curtain by using 3 fingers and tapping 4 times quickly. It is usually accidently enabled by someone because it was tapped 4 times instead of 3.
