Can not connect Canon Pixma MG3570 with Mac 10.6.8
is it the wifi? The modem? a download? driver? Mac does not find it on its own. ???

If you're trying to connect via wifi, you need to set that up by connecting it via USB first. It should be covered in the Canon instructions.

Thanks for your constructive assistance. The web site that HadesMilton mentioned is good, however I do not have the original Driver CD that came with the printer. On that web site it does have another link to download the driver online. However this web site to download driver seems to be for windows only and not Mac. Thus I am stuck. However if I can get a CD driver for Mac, or find a way to download a driver for mac, then the site that HadesMilton has given will be most helpful. Thank you in advance for your time.
I have this same problem can someone help out please. Have misplaced the original cd that came with the printer and recently bought a macbook air.

You don't need the DVD. Anything that was on it is more up to date when downloaded from Canon's web site or by using the OS X's add printer routine:
