The grey screen areas do not prevent reading web pages or documents, but it is extremely distracting and am concerned if there is damage to the screen. It resembles a "screen burn" experienced in the old PCs. The iMac is a mid 2010. Am out of Apple Care warranty on this iMac but still would take to Genius Bar for look. But thought someone may have some advice on the possible causes of this issue. Many thanks...jet
