I have a disabled Iphone 5s, but I have successfully got it to connect to my Mac using bluetooth- I know down the line it'll need a reset but to save some photos how can share photos using the bluetooth connection onto my mac? Itunes isnt authorised on my phone.

You cannot use Bluetooth to transfer files from an iPhone.

That's not a feature of iOS. You can't do it. You can only transfer photos via USB.
If you have PhotoStream turned on, then you can download the photos in PhotoStream to iPhoto.
It's not an authorised PC and it's been disabled because the passcode was forgotten, thanks though
This lists supported BT profiles for the iPhone: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647. You will notice that there is no file transfer profile listed. The only profile supported to another computing device is tethering (PAN).
well then just connect the phone to the computer with a cable and the phone will appear as an external drive or camera and just transfer the photos by copying them from the phone and paste them where you want on the computer

The bluetooth paring with iPhone is only to use your iPhone network connect for the computer (syuch as if you don't have regular internet for your computer).
You don't. If the phone is disabled and you don't have access to a computer that it was already set up to sync with, there is no way to retrieve anything from the phone.
Great, so as a final step how can I do this on a Mac , Ive used a similar process on an old iPod!
