7.1.1 update
I have an iPad and when I try to do the 7.1.1 update it is asking for a password and it's not the my regular apple password! Any ideas?

It is the 4 digit passcode you use to unlock your iPad when you turn it on.

It's the four digit Passcode that you use to unlock your iPad.
You need the four digit passcode that you use when you first start your device or when you wake it from sleep after an Autolock. If you do not know the passcode you will have to connect your device to your computer, preferably the one you sync with, and restore the device. There's more information in this Apple support page:
