Iphone 5, latest software. More than 4000 photos. Iphoto doesn't see them all (Image capture does, but in a strange order). So it's impossible to copy some of the images using iPhoto. I noticed in Image capture that photos have strange names - some recent photos have name img_0115 (same as photos which are 3-4 years old), while photos taken 1 year ago have name img_9156. Some recent photos also have big numbers in their names but there is no clear system as to how they get these names. Am not sure if that is the problem, but it's impossible to manage data from iphoto.
