I'm resetting the PMU on my iMac. It wouldn't start and I tried everything else. It's been running now for about an hour and I wonder how long time it takes for the iMac to finish this recovery?!

The PMU is only found on older Macs, if that's what you have here. Intel Macs generally have an SMU, and a reset sequence for that. As for the reset, that usually takes a few seconds.
This is an older mac (2008) I think.
Ok, so I guess that there is something wrong with the reset sequence then because it's still running.
The MacMini is kind of loud and the wheel is spinning under the Apple logo, but nothing is happening.
Don't know if I should wait a bit longer or turn it of?!?!
