how do I put movie that is on my hard drive on iCloud?

Not sure how to move movie from my hard drive to icloud storage

MacBook Air, iOS 7.1.1

I dont believe you can. I think iC is for backup only except for selected apps

My understanding is that iC is for backup unless you have an iC related app that works with it.

For example to use iCloud on Apple TV u must have used iC photos or iC Movies.

Videos can be added to Shared Photo Streams:

User uploaded file


There is a size limit that can be accomodated: iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Photo Sharing and Shared Photo Streams


Which video formats and sizes does iCloud Photo Sharing support?

iCloud Photo Sharing supports both MP4 and QuickTime video file types, and H.264 and MPEG-4 video file formats. Videos can be up to 5 minutes long.
