What is the camera icon for?

In the various choices for formatting there is an icon of a camera. Do I use that to put an image in my comment here &, if so, how do I do that?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

When I click the camera icon & drag a screen shot into the window that is there that says "insert image" I then get a window that says "I have unsaved changes" & wants to know if I want to stay on the page or leave it. If I click stay the insert image window is there, if I leave it I get a window in my browser (Google Chrome) with the image. What should I do?

Type "chrome://plugins" in the chrome address bar.

Click "Details" at the top right of the plugins page.

Scroll to Adobe Flash Player. Make sure it's enabled.

IF that's OK, click Chrome>Preferences to go to the settings.

Click "Show advanced settings..."

Under Privacy, click the "Content settings..." button.

You should see these settings:

User uploaded file

Images - Show all

Javascript - Allow all

Handlers - Allow

Plug-ins - Run automatically
