Apple Finance Help?????

Hi,

I purchased a Apple MacBook Pro Retina on the Apple website last night using the finance option given using Barclays Partner Finance.

My loan/credit has been accepted and I've received a email stao ting my application has been successful.

The only thing that's confusing me is when I click on 'Order Status' on the Apple website it's stating 'awaitting payment'?

I'm just confused to what this means and when I am likely to receive my MacBook as I'm being very impatient waiting for my new toy 🙂

Can someone who has used Apple Finance and Barclays Partner Finance please explain?

Barclay Partner Finance will contact Apple to process payment with them. This should take no longer than a day, and Apple should then update your order status. If it's a custom order (i.e. you've specified things that are non-standard), then it could take longer for the update to appear.

I've not purchased using Barclay Partner with Apple, but I have used Barclay Partner for other things. They are good, and very helpful if you need to contact them.

Thanks for your reply, so really all I've got to do is sit tight until tomorrow hopefully and wait for the status to change to 'processing'?

I just hope it comes by Friday night as I'm going on holiday abroad and was hoping to take it with me 🙂

adamfromfrome is right, i have used the Apple Finance to buy my Macbook. You just have to wait a little. In my case the payment appeared on the Apple Store a day later after my credit was accepted. Dont worry, after that all happens real fast

Thank you for your reply, I've used finance a few times but always in store so I'm new to this doing finance online stuff?

I'm just so excited to receive my new Mac so I can throw this Mac in the bin where is belongs 🙂

Contact Apple, they are the only ones that can give you an answer, payment of finance very often can take 24-48 hours especially over weekend. See what Apple have to say.
