Q: new iphone update killed my cell.

the latest update killed my iphone 4s. it's now stuck on itunes with the usb under it. i've gone through every combination of uninstall and reinstall i can and even took a crack at the source. still no luck 8hrs later. why is apple so idiot friendly and user faulty. this is what i get for trying to stay on top of updates. even though i waited 3 days before installing incase bugs showed up. when i started i had a working cell. working itunes and the download seemed fine. then poof. itunes screen of death on my phone and code 28/acess denied on my PC. why why why apple do you hate me?

Sorry to hear about your issues with updating. Check out the article for troubleshooting issues with restoring your iPhone. Start with looking at any 3^rd party security software that may be preventing the update from happening.

the fix was to go to the apple store at the mall and have the iphone connected to an apple laptop. it took 30min and my phone was working again. then i just had to restore my settings and apps when i got home from backup.

hey, norm123. If u are that good as it seems on Apple products, why isnt AMDS working for some iPhone's anymore. Works fine with iPad 2 but no a single respons from mine 4S and none of my wifes 4 and 4S.
