Sorry to hear about your issues with updating. Check out the article for troubleshooting issues with restoring your iPhone. Start with looking at any 3rd party security software that may be preventing the update from happening.

May 1, 2014 9:25 PM in response to norm123by riverwild,the fix was to go to the apple store at the mall and have the iphone connected to an apple laptop. it took 30min and my phone was working again. then i just had to restore my settings and apps when i got home from backup.

hey, norm123. If u are that good as it seems on Apple products, why isnt AMDS working for some iPhone's anymore. Works fine with iPad 2 but no a single respons from mine 4S and none of my wifes 4 and 4S.
