Q: How Do I Delete File From Intro Media?

I have created an iBook and added a video to my Intro Media spec. I have decided the video is too long and would like to delete or replace it. I cannot delete it using the standard commands. How do I delete a file once I drop it into Intro Media?

Select and right click for the  menu...delete!

I cannot see why you have a problem. It will not drag to trash.

Thanks, vinnyvg. This the right-click and delete process works for most of the other content pages in my iBook; however, the iBook Author, the Intro Media, cover, TOC, etc. menu items are shaded out, disabling the delete option. See my screenshot.

    Any other suggestions?

Did you drop a file into the intro page?   If so select the file on the  page  and right click/delete

I just  looked at mine and it shows the same greyed out menu...possibly another quirk in the software.

Ignore it.. to delete the  file  from the page - . LEFT click the file to select it and the  little square "grab handles" will show, now right  click on that file and select Delete from the mouse menu.
