Project and Timing panes won't open - have reinstalled same result - -help

I'm at a high school and when we reimaged over the summer something went wrong. When I open Motion the project and timing panes do not open. F5 and F6 are light gray in the menu. I've trashed it and re-installed but get the same result. PReferences doesn't open either. Any ideas?

PowerMac G5, (7,3), Mac OS X (10.4)

Heya,

It sounds like ProKit (Pro Apps UI toolkit) is busted/missing. Unfortunately, the ProKit versions put on by Tiger can spoof the Motion installer so that it won't re-install it for you.

Try downloading this support installer. It will freshen ProKit (for PowerPC).
