Why does my MAC OS X 10.5.8 no longer transfer Movies fron my camera to IPhoto ? It transferes pictures but no movies . I Reformated the SD card recently did that change something?

Have you purchased a new camera or changed the video format the camera is shooting? Wha format video are you shooting?

As I remember AVCHD movies were not supported until iPhtoo '11 version 9.3 - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5251?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

I think you may have been threatening us because you have only software although it certaibnly is not clear wha you are doing - if you are don't bother - we could care less if you do not want help

A note on AVCHD: This format was developed for people who are shooting to edit the material afterwards. If you're shooting to edit, then iMovie or Final Cut are the correct home for this material. If you're not shooting to edit consider using one of the other video formats on your Camera.
LarryHN I reset my camera to HD from AVCHD and it solved problem . Thanks for you advice
