Q: I have music that I purchased a few years ago and it is now missing on my home computer - it is still on the iPad. How do I sync back from the iPad to my home computer

Content is missing from my Mac Mini at home but on my new iPad. I want to get it back onto my home computer, but while the store shows that I purchased the music (albeit a few years ago), it doesn't have a download link.

Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

plug the ipad into the computer

open itunes

on the top menu go to file > devices > transfer purchases from "device name"
