what is error code -22?
When I tried to empty trash, it repeatedly gave me the error message -22. What is it? How do I solve this problem? Thanks.

Is the file on your drive or perhaps an external drive?
If you log out or restart your computer can you empty the trash now?
You might want to try this free AppleScript called Trash It.
