Trouble connecting bluetooth keyboard

I am having trouble connecting my bluetooth keyboard to my 2009 Macbook Pro. I do not even have the setup bluetooth device option. Please help.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Resetting SMC as well as NVRAM could solve the problem.
