Q: Does your iPhone automatically backup every night?

I feel like I was told this once....is it true?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.1

    No.

     

    If you have setup iCloud on your device and turned on the backup function it will backup automatically when your device is connected to Wi-Fi and power.

     

    Obviously, for people who charge their phones at night, it will backup then (if setup to do so).
