Toshiba x Crucial SSD MBP 2012

Hi guys

I have a Macbook Pro (Late 2012) 13.3 inches (i5/4 gb ram/500 gb hdd), 8 months old...

And I'm thinking about buying a 120 GB SSD (I don't use much space in disk because I have an external samsung driver which I save big files in it)

I'm in Ireland, so I'm shopping online since I live in a small town...

I searched a lot and the one I really would like to buy is the Samsung 120GB 840 Evo but it costs €87.00 (http://www.dabs.ie/products/samsung-120gb-840-evo-series-sata-6gb-s-2-5--solid-s tate-drive-8WCF.html) and I'm in a tight budget...

So there are two options...

The crucial M500

or the Toshiba Q Series (not Pro)

Which one do you recommend? Crucial M500 or Toshiba? Which is one is more reliable for using in a Macbook Pro? Would I be able to enable TRIM with them both? Please give me your opinion...

Also on this same website I can find a Kingston and Sandisk with the same price range but they are slower than the others..

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Crucial is a very reliable brand. I have an M500 250GB in a Mac Mini and I put an M500 120GB into a friend's 2008 MBP. They're not the fastest SSDs in the market but they are compatible and reliable with Macs. I don't know anything about Toshiba, Kingston or SanDisk.

Yes, you can enable TRIM for the Crucial without any issues.
