White cloud when entering and closing applications

Is anyone else getting a white cloud on the side of their screen when they get into an app or close an app? (defult and purchased apps)

I have an iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.1, it is a fairly new phone (purchased in January) and I have only just recenty noticed this probolem. I have never dropped my phone, it is in perfect condition so I have no idea what is wrong with it.

I noticed something white in the top left corner of my screen yesterday as i got into the camera app, at first i though i was just seeing things because it was there for less than a second and it was about the size of a finger nail (rather small) so it was easy to assume i was just seeing things... but the little white cloud on the screen is betting bigger (it is now taking up the whole left half of the screen) and staying for longer (about 2 or 3 seconds). It only appears when i am opening or closing an app, so when the screen is switching from the app to the home screen (or other way around).

Can someone please tell me if this is a common bug with the new update or if I need to get my phone repaired (or does anyone have any solutions)

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

If the issue persists, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

I have been doing it for a while, I am pretty certain it is the white text from apps from the home screen zoomed up very close (due to when you open and close an app, it gives the effect all the apps are coming at you)

I have a very similar issue on an iPhone 4s iOS 7.1.1. My 'white cloud' appears in the top right corner when an app is launching, for about 3 seconds and then goes away. This issue only started after I updated to iOS 7. I have tried to 'reset, restart, restore', but nothing changed. I am pretty sure this must be a iOS problem as I also have not dropped or damaged my phone in any way and if you do a google search, many other users are experiencing similar problems on other forums.

If anyone has an alternative solution it would be very much appreciated.
