Hi over the past two days the above buttons have stopped working on my wireless key board has anyone had this or do you think my keyboard has given up the ghost thanks DOM

Do a SMC reset 2-3 times, that may take care of it. To do one simply shutdown the computer, remove the power cord from the back of the computer for 15-20 seconds and then power back on and retest. If that does not fix it the keyboard should be replaced. If your computer is covered by AppleCare the keyboard would be covered.

The tab and caps lock keys and the space bar (only when I press the left side) have just stopped after returning back home with my MBP. I tried to clean up those keys one by one but I believe it is not a mechanical problem. SMC reset was just a try but did not help.

Likely a failed keyboard, to check use a USB keyboard (any will work) and test. If they machine is covered by AppleCare then call and they will replace it. If not covered then it's time to replace it.

Sometimes OWC (www.macsales.com) has them on sale or you can also find them on Ebay or Amazon too.
Same problem. Just came from the Genius Bar. With a new keyboard a lighter wallet.
