Weird mac startup.

(First of all, sorry for my english).

This is what happened: I started up my iMac 27" and instead of showing the little apple and the grey screen, the monitor shows this:

I wrote "exit" and hit enter and then the machine booted normally.

Does anyone know what happened here? I understand nothing from those strange codes.
