Stolen iPhone - Erase my phone

I just got my iPhone 4S stolen, (yesterday) so I logged in on my icloud and noticed that I can "erase my phone" So I did. But I am confused about a few things, because different sources on google tells me that ALL data is now deleted. Does that also include photos and videos too? Or is it only, text messages etc... What about apps? Any one knows for sure?
