Q: My Numbers folders and documents are not syncing across my two Macs

I have one document that REFUSES to sync. In fact a few of them. I edit them on one machine, then I want my staff to revise the same document on a shared machine, but it does not show up on that machine or in the right folder.

The *folders* I created on one Mac are all on the other Mac, but they're not syncing. Some files aren't in their right places and mutiple files are missing. Both machines are connected to the Internet. Both are logged into the right account. Both are on Mavericks. I have no idea what's going on.

Are the folders supposed to look the same? On my iPad files do and I don't have to think about it. Is there a button to hit on the Mac to make it sync? How long of a lag is there supposed to be between updating on one machine and being able to open it on another? How often does a machine sync its Numbers file and what actions trigger syncing?

Frustrated!!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), 2 GHz i7, 4 GB RAM
