Q: I try to start my iMac bucks it doesn't start instead it starts beeping

You know?  This afternoon I tried again (it glitched yesterday around early afternoon) and...quelle surprise! It started perfectly back up.  I got a window that said something about the computer having had a problem and if I wanted to submitt a report to Apple, which I did and now, it´s all hunky dory. 
  I´m just concerned that, I have no clue nor idea about what happened and, I´m obviously afraid it happens again.
  You have any idea Frank, what could have caused it to glitch like that?

At the next day from the second glitch or kernel panic my computer had a new one.  The beep is a triple beep, followed by a pause and then again another three beeps.  I remembered that, the same day I had the first kernel panic (it seems to me that´s what it is) I had installed an AOL tool bar for the Firefox browser and then, the problems started.
  So what I did (I read it on another article) was, I uninstalled the Firefox browser altogether with the plugins, add-ons and extensions.  Then, I disconnected everything, placed the computer on the bed (on its screen side) and removed the memory slots lid.  I switched the memory cards and then, I plugged everything back on and...it seems that solved the problem: it´s been already four days and it hasn´t failed. 
  Apparently, it could have been an incompatibility with the Firefox AOL toolbar plug-in or also, something to do with the memory cards. 

  Anyway, I hope this helps other people.
