my ipad mini mic doesnt work at all, I bought it last december 11, everything seems to be fine until suddenly last week it wont work at all not even a single whisper cant be heard. please help.
Check settings> general> restrictions> scroll down to microphone> to see if it's been restricted.

I dont use restrictions though, I checked it already. 😟

all my apps are enabled on privacy too, but whenever I use siri or video recording I can blow unto the mic and I can hear the air that I blew, so weird. but whenever I say hello I even scream, doesnt work
Maybe something here will help. It says iPhone but applies to your Mini.
Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing, Wall Paper, Sound etc will be reset
okay done resetting, sorry it doesnt work, im so sad. I dont know how
I think the next best step is a trip to the Apple store.
I almost forgot. Go to settings> general> Siri and even if Siri is turned on try toggling the Siri switch on and off a few times, to see if that makes a difference.
Had same problem. Turned out we had a blue tooth speaker connected elsewhere in the house to the iPad and forgot. When speaker turned off, iPad mic worked again.
