Q: my iphone 4 fails to connect to recovery mode ios 7.0.6!!!!!!!

i tried updating to ios 7.1.1 and it failed so i put it in recovery mode and when it ws updating it said update failed!!!!!! PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!
