What if factory reset doesn't work?
Have tried all sorts of ways to reset airport base, but yet doesn't work at all. What should I do?
iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.1, Airport Base utility
As a last ditch effort, try the following:
Power off the AirPort for a few minutes
Hold in the reset button first, and keep holding it in for another 10-12 seconds while you simultaneously plug the power back into the AirPort
Release the reset button after the hold period, and allow a full minute for the AirPort to restart
At this point, the amber should be blinking slowly, and you should be able to reconfigure it again using AirPort Utility on your Mac
If a factory default reset does not work, the AirPort is defective and will need to be replaced.
