How to connect apple tv to NAD T748 AV Receiver

Hi All, Trying to connect apple tv to NAD T748 home theatre.

Any one achieved this?

Thanks, discovered the only way I could get it to work was to run an HDMI cable from my Apple TV to TV's HDMI 2. HDMI 1 then runs from TV to HDMI out on T748 AV Receiver

Could not find any reference to HDCP for NAD T748 or TV

TV = Samsung UA40C6200UMXRD

by hdmi or by optical

most cases optical works better

as hdmi rely on hdcp and if the hdcp is not implmentated in the NAD according to apples requirements it will not work

By the way, due to age of tv it does not have ARC so used an optical cable for sound between TV and A/V Receiver
