I was trying to save battery life and turned off all Background App Refresh options by sliding the green button. Now, I can't use my workout apps with GPS. I went to settings>General>Background App Refresh, but it won't give me the option of sliding the main button to on. All apps appear light grey. What do I do now?

Go to Settings>General>>Restrictions>(Scroll all the way down)Select Bckground App Refresh
ANd selecct allow changes.
You might Have locked it in the restrictions.

Turned on privacy and restrictions. Still
Cannot turn on background apps
I had to comment on this seeing as I tried everything to fix it and nothing worked. what worked for me was going to settings > battery > and deselecting low power mode. Then you can go back and the background refresh button becomes clickable..

I did as it was told in the restrictions part and it's still all grey and I can't make the changes please help

ticked 'Allow changes' for Background App Refresh in Restrictions.
But still Back ground App refresh is greyed out
