How do I recover my facetime password? Im a new to mac products have been having a hard time adapting to the new system.
I don't understand why everytime we update passwords it goes through our internet mail for re-verification. It's such a pain--
I know layers of protection.

So is the FaceTime password your AppleID password? That's what I thought it was, but when I enter my AppleID password, FaceTime will not accept it.
I can log into my iCloud account with my AppleID password with no problem, but not FaceTime.
I have the same problem. Facetime asks for my password, gets my Apple ID password and appears to reject it and continues to show an error message and ask for the password.
Only I am not sure that it does actually reject it, since I can ignore the dialogue box and go on to use Facetime.
But there is undoubtedly a glitch here.
Please put it right Apple.
I was having the same problem. My apple id password was rejected.
Then I opened FaceTime and entered the password again. This time it worked fine.
I also had a prompt for my iMessage password, and that worked fine too.
Answer seems to be to open the apps then try entering the password.
