App Store Greyed Out

Hi there,

I can't seem to get the app store to open to preform any updates. When I click on the App Store icon it will open to this:User uploaded file

At which point I can click any of the icons at the top, which will all turn blue after I click on them, but otherwise do nothing. I have rebooted my computer twice, as well as closing out of and reopening the app. I'm not sure where to go from here- any help would be greatly appreciated!

(Also I'm on a 15'' late 2011 Macbook Pro, running OS X 10.9.2)

MacBook Pro, Mac OS 9.2.x

If you haven't already done so since this started, log out and log back in, or restart the computer. Then try again.

Otherwise, if you're using "LittleSnitch" or any similar third-party software that blocks outgoing network connections, remove or disable it according to the developer's instructions and test.

If possible, connect to a different network and test.

Apps such as Little Snitch, Growl, and MacKeeper can prevent apps from downloading

Disable anti virus software if installed

Make sure the firewall is turned off in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall

Make sure Gatekeeper is enabled

Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.

Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected.

If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.
