Generally a RAM issue.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2341

Follow these directions to see if you can diagnose it further:

https://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509

If not, you may need to ensure your RAM is correct for your model and age of your model.

If the RAM vendor you purchased RAM from said it was anything other than " Early 2011 15" RAM,

I.e. if you only looked at it for the details on http://www.everymac.com/ such as below:

C3-10600 DDR3 Min. RAM Speed: 1333 MHz
Details:

Supports 1333 MHz PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM.

And did not buy it for it saying it had been tested with the Early 2011 15" MacBook Pro, you may have the wrong RAM. Both http://www.crucial.com/ and http://www.macsales.com/ (OWC) let you purchase RAM by model and age of Mac. Do not buy ValueRAM or non-lifetime warranty RAM.
