Airport Express with HP wireless Laptop

Hello,
My Airport Express is connected to my stereo via a RCA-type wired connectors. My HP wireless Laptop scans and finds my Buffalo router for normal internet and the Apple Network 741bd7 I assume from the Airport Express plugged into the wall in the living room.
The problem:
The computer/airport express connects when I select Apple Network 741bd7 and will play any music in my 'library' in iTunes when I select 'living room', but won't enable search and play from 'Radio', i.e., no internet. I can only get internet if I reconnect to my Buffalo router connection which does not work with my airport express.
Could you please help me?

Thanks!

P.S. My macs don't have any wireless cards... however, have a d-link DWL-G122 wireless USB card which I can't find an updated driver for OS 10.4.7. Any ideas or help would also be appreciated.

You do not need an Internet connection for the AirPort Express (AX) in order to stream iTunes from your HP laptop, only a wireless connection between the laptop and AX.

Since you cannot extend the network wirelessly using the AX with your Buffalo router, you need to set up your AX as a network client. (ref: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302153) In this configuration, your HP laptop should be able to access the Internet thru the Buffalo router and thus receive Internet radio within iTunes...and, in turn, stream the radio to your AX wirelessly.
