Negative number entry on an iOS using Numbers

How do you enter a negative number in numbers on an iOS device (iPhone) as the numerical keyboard does not allow you to enter a - before you type a entry, i have tried to google for an answer but am unable to find any. the file has been imported via Excel. if i were to copy an existing negative enty from one cell to the new cell then this works, but i can not enter -321.67 for an example. any help, am i missing something? as im so used to Excel.

Cheers in advance

Hello,

I have an iPhone 5c and iOS 10.3, my numeric keyboard that pops up for an input field on another app only shows a comma (instead of a decimal point -- normal, I am in France) in the lower left corner of the keyboard. There is no +/- button. Can't figure out how to enter a negative value.

Thanks
