how do I delete all email from one sender
I want to delete old emails from certain senders but Apple email on my iPad does not permit marking all emails found by search. I have over 4000 emails and need to delete most because they are old.

I just found one workaround on the icloud mail web page. Press CONTROL A (don't pick up your fingers) and then the trash icon. If you want to select one sender, search for them first. I just did 6 months of security cam emails in about 2 minutes.

Not having the bulk delete feature builds up the size of our email boxes increasing the amount of storage we are forced to pay for.
Seriously considering deleting my iCloud account altogether and returning to my hotmail account.
I also want to delete all email from one sender. I'm trying to do this on the web on my icloud email, but there is nothing there either. Microsoft has always been way ahead of Apple on work functions and apparently Apple is doing nothing about it.
Ok so, after experimenting A LOT, and searching in other forums, I finally did it.
So:
1) search in the imbox the sender you want to delet the messeges form.
2) Tap on “Edit” (top right corner)
3) Check the first mail from the list.
4) Hold the “move” option (lower part of the screen, in the middle)
5) While holding the “move” option, deselect the first e-mail you selected before.
6) Release all of your fingers from the screen.
7) now yo have the option to move all the messeges in the search result of your sender anywhere. In this case, the trash can.
8) Delete all messeges from trash. DONE
There is no way to do this in the Mail App.
I Have the same problem. It doesn't appear that the iPad or iPhone mail apps allow group action once a specific search criteria has been executed.
If this is true, then the only option for a time-saving group action is an "all or nothing" within a given mailbox. Otherwise, I have to select each email one at a time, which I don't have the time to do.
Please, Apple, provide a fix for this!!! I'm not a programmer, but how hard would it be to allow a group action after a search has been executed?
Thanks for your consideration.
I agree- this is a very basic missing feature.
I get tens of unwanted emails a week, and would like to bulk delete from selected senders every so often.
Apple please add a batch delete to the search function.
Thanks
WAKE UP APPLE!!!!
This is a simple and must on our devices!
We all need a batch delete to the search function as mentioned!
I can't believe this is missing!
WAKE UP APPLE!!!!

I use to be able to delete emails in the Apple mail app on the iPhone and iPad before ios7 and now we cannot. If Apple is all about being efficient and making the world an easier place to live and work in; then why make things harder by changing something that was not broken? So the question remains why did Apple break it?
I agree that this is frustrating. Apple, please fix this. For instance, I get daily email
Ails from several news sources. I want to delet them in batches, but can't. I also assume that since they are not a dialogue, there is thread that can be deleted. Can this be addressed?
Try downloading boxer from AppStore!!
