How do i free up memory or find how much memory i have to upgrade

    Free up memory usage by quitting open applications.

     

    For memory upgrades, depends on which iMac you have >  How to identify iMac models

     

     

     

    You're sure it's a memory issue rather than lack of available disk space?

     

    Open the Finder then right or control click the MacintoshHD then cliick Get Info.

     

    Available disk space is noted in the Get Info panel.

     

    Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
