iCloud Keychain doesn't sync

I tried knowledge base from Apple which it told me to turn off the iCloud Keychain on all my device, and turn all back on, and that didn't work for me.

I have to logout my iCloud account on my phone and log back in again for my phone to sync the iCloud Keychain agin.

I have the same problem and have followed the steps but the keychain will not get any more than 52 out of 380 items on my Macbook pro. Whats the next step if we have followed your first reply?

To fix my own problem 🙂 I opened every item and added a space in the comments section and saved the changes

this forced it to update on all devices and was a tedious task, but at least i am back to normal for now

same problem, iMac, MacBook all ok, but since yesterday new iPhone 6 64Gb iOS8.0.2 an NO synqing

Same here: I own a Mac (OS X 10.9), bought an iPad (iOS 8) two days ago and the keychain sync doesn't work. Of course, iCloud and keychain sync are enabled on both devices.

I found a way, I restored my new iPhone6 with 8.02 and before i activate the phone and restore from a iCloud backup ( my old iphone5) I disable the keychain on my old phone, and then activated the new iphone6 and there activate the keychain, now its IN sync again hope it works for you as well

I live in a world of pain - the keychain does simply not sync - I wasted hours of my life trying to get this inferior product to work!!!

I dont need another knowledgebase article with a work around - fix the keychain instead - it is broken!!!!!!!!

Instead Administrators delete posts that point that out! From a moral standpoint quite questionable.... :-(

I also have this problem. I am literally wasting my time fixing this thing on my own. The knowledgebase is unhelpful. Ever since this re-design of iOS, the problems getting worst. I remember having trusted everything to Apple Services back from my first iPhone in 2010. The iOS 6 was the last stable iOS version for me. I don't know how Apple is focusing now. All this publicity is just facade. This is not Apple I've known and love.

Many iCloud problems exists very long already. They've introduced features after features but fixes to bugs are very little. I am not a bug-hunter myself but I could easily find bugs in iOS 8. How come everything goes out of sight from a Apple QC? What's with all the money Apple, hire the best ones please!

I'm also having this issue. Passwords synced to my iPhone 6 for the first few days and then all disappeared. I've tried turning off keychain on both my mac and iPhone and re-enabling it.

Going to try do a restore and see what happens.

contacted apple they put my ID in trouble shooing mode.. It's been 2 weeks and they couldn't do anything till now!! They don't even reply to my emails..

BEfore re that I had problem with iCloud photos but it's understandable cause it's in beta..

I ended up doing a restore. I first did a clean restore, and then restored from backup. Keychain has been syncing since then. Give it a try
