What does jailbroken mean?
I have heard of "jailbreaking your device" and it doesn't seem good what is the full definition for "jailbroken?"

Jailbreak is a hack to defeat the security of iOS so that non-Apple Apps can be unstalled. It voids your warranty. It will prevent you from getting service from Apple or here. It can also cause your iPad to become a "brick" after a future upgrade of iOS.
Basically it is not worth it.
It's intentionally altering the program that operates your iPad. You open yourself up to viruses and many end up not working at all. Apple won't have anything to do with you and if you do we can't even help you on this Forum. You were very smart to ask first. Don't even think about it.
