Q: What does jailbroken mean?

I have heard of "jailbreaking your device" and it doesn't seem good what is the full definition for "jailbroken?"

Jailbreak is a hack to defeat the security of iOS so that non-Apple Apps can be unstalled. It voids your warranty. It will prevent you from getting service from Apple or here. It can also cause your iPad to become a "brick" after a future upgrade of iOS.

 

Basically it is not worth it.
